Welcome to my web site and If you
would like to know a little more about me,
 please read on.

I am a fourth generation wood-worker. From the time I can remember, I was handing my father his tools. I spent most of my adult life working for a major yacht company, Hatteras Yachts. For most of those years I was manger of Quality Assurance. I maintained a wood-working shop as a hobby and to relax myself after wearing a tie for eight hours.

In the early 90's, after twenty five years with Hatteras Yachts,  I went into business for myself and chose to start an Antique Furniture Repair business. Buying high-end Antiques, repairing them when needed and reselling.

About five years ago I made my first humidor for a friend. He ordered six more and by word of mouth I was swamped with requests for custom, one-of-a-kind humidors. I have made over three hundred humidors with no two ever the same. I sign and date each one and never make another one like it. The cigar "craze" is over but my Humidor business is stronger that ever. The serious cigar smoker is still out there and will settle for nothing but the best when it comes to keeping and storing his valuable cigars. Almost everyone that has bought one of my Humidors, wind up with two or more. They range in size from "Pocket size" to "Cabinet size" and I even converted a closet to a walk-in Humidor, equipped with an computerized humidification system. I work with over thirty different types of domestic and exotic hardwoods. I don't use any wood that is on the endangered list.

I have always lived in North Carolina and love this state. I am a one man shop and everything is built, finished and shipped by me. I have complete control of the Quality of my products. I have added Jewelry Chests, Silver Chests, Gun display cases, etc. to my line.

One of my most enjoyable things to do is design and build custom furniture. I have built many pieces; dining room furniture, bedroom furniture, etc.

I spent two  years with Uncle Sam and was proud to serve my country. I spent one of my two years with Uncle Sam in Vietnam; that was in August 1967- August68, an experience that I will never forget. I was one of the lucky one's that came home unhurt. Thank God for answered prayers.
